The Hip Thrust PU Barbell Pad is a double-thickness barbell pad designed for the Hip Thrust exercise. Standard barbell pads (code 9023<\/span>) designed to support the bar on the upper back. The thickness of standard padding is thin because it must allow the barbell to be positioned correctly, whereas for the Hip Thrust it is necessary to use larger, less soft padding. It is no coincidence that makeshift solutions are often seen; rolled mats, cushions, pieces of rubber etc.<\/p>\n The Barbell Pad Hip Thrust PU is therefore characterised by a high padding thickness and the use of polyurethane foam in order to achieve a firm, as well as padded, cushion that is able to attenuate the high pressure of the barbell.<\/p>\n The Barbell Pad Hip Thrust PU can also be used in the manner of a board press, i.e. as a shim between the barbell and the chest in certain bench press exercises where ROM (range of motion) shortening is required. This is clearly an approximate application, but it has the advantage that it can also be used without one or more assistants, as is the case with wooden shims.<\/p>\n Length<\/strong> 445 mm
