Le travail porte sur la force d'endurance, les contractions isom\u00e9triques et la mobilit\u00e9 articulaire, avec un accent particulier sur les cha\u00eenes musculaires les plus sollicit\u00e9es dans la conduite. L'entra\u00eenement des capacit\u00e9s a\u00e9robies et du syst\u00e8me cardiovasculaire est ensuite fondamental : les forces auxquelles l'athl\u00e8te est soumis en comp\u00e9tition exigent une endurance sur de longues distances et la capacit\u00e9 de s'adapter \u00e0 des conditions environnementales difficiles telles que la chaleur extr\u00eame qui, dans une voiture de rallye, les jours d'\u00e9t\u00e9, peut facilement d\u00e9passer les 50\u00b0. Et c'est pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment sur cet aspect psychologique que je voudrais insister.<\/p>\n<p>Le sacrifice physique de la conduite peut \u00eatre att\u00e9nu\u00e9 par la composante adr\u00e9naline de la comp\u00e9tition (commune \u00e0 tous les sports), alors que dans le travail \u00e0 sec, la composante mentale et le d\u00e9sir de r\u00e9ussir, de d\u00e9passer chaque jour ses propres limites, est le v\u00e9ritable moteur de la motivation. Rachele doit faire face chaque jour \u00e0 une maladie g\u00e9n\u00e9tique d\u00e9g\u00e9n\u00e9rative qui affecte plusieurs organes internes, principalement les poumons, et tire un grand b\u00e9n\u00e9fice d'un entra\u00eenement physique cibl\u00e9. Le cardio-training est l'\u00e9quivalent d'une s\u00e9ance de kin\u00e9sith\u00e9rapie respiratoire car en renfor\u00e7ant la capacit\u00e9 pulmonaire et en entra\u00eenant les voies respiratoires, il permet d'\u00e9liminer l'exc\u00e8s de mucus et d'augmenter la quantit\u00e9 d'air introduite lors de la respiration. Sur le plan mental, la mesure des am\u00e9liorations des performances, de l'endurance et du bien-\u00eatre physique aide \u00e0 faire face \u00e0 la maladie et aux difficult\u00e9s qu'elle impose au
