The 1,0 kg Pilates Ball, also available in the 0,5 kg version (code 0450, red colour), is a heavy ball excellent for rehabilitation and for training the arms, shoulders and torso. Training with Pilates Balls
Pilates Balls allow you to create variations in a Pilates class, ensuring a small load that benefits a muscle toning process and thus offering the opportunity to intensify the exercises. A Roll-up, for example, which becomes more intense if you hold the Pilates Ball, but also one twist plugs holding a ball in each hand, it becomes more tiring for both the shoulders and the diagonal lines that support the action.
Pilates Balls can also be used as supports to be kept under the sacrum or under the occipital area, to correct positions in supine decubitus. The balls also have a destabilizing effect: if, for example, you perform the exercise of bird dog extension, i.e. the lengthening of the opposite leg and arm from a quadrupedal position, holding the Pilates Ball of 0,5 Kg a greater tension is created in the core, a really sensitive tension.
