ADJUSTABLE ANKLE WEIGHTS – Adjustable anklets (maximum 5 kg each)
Pair of anklets with adjustable weight, 5 + 5 kg, for bodyweight exercises with progressive overload. Made in nylon, the anklets are adjustable by inserting 10 + 10 metal cylinders of 500 g each into special pockets with Velcro. A 5 cm high band, also with Velcro, facilitates adjustment and adherence to the leg which, in the case of such heavy anklets, must be optimal.
To further improve the fit to the leg, the new 2024 model features increased internal padding and straps compared to the previous model.
The weight of 5 kg per anklet is, in our opinion, the maximum weight that can be reached for this type of tool. Tests with higher weights have in fact highlighted a poor fit of the prototypes due to the excessive dimensions compared to the lower part of the leg. 5 Kg may appear as a theoretically not too demanding weight while in reality this overload is very high for most users.
Leaps, sprints, leg swings, crunches, bodyweight exercises and metabolic activities with an overload of 5 kg on each ankle are physically demanding and must be correctly evaluated and performed. For this reason we have chosen to make the 5 kg anklets adjustable so that the user can proceed through the adoption of progressive loads.
Dimensions:: 36 x 16 cm
Circumference Max: 45cm

very good product to work the legs with ballasts, especially the aspect of the quality of the material. the idea of the removable weights inside is also excellent, in order to better manage the load of the anklets from the lightest to the heaviest. I didn't give 5 for two reasons, IN MY OPINION: first, unlike other tested anklets, they are not very appropriate for running possibly, since there is no padding or similar stuff, the steel bars feel that they put a little pressure and they could be annoying; second, the velcro should be revisited in terms of size, it would fit perfectly on people with rather wide ankles, for those on the average like me you have to tighten a lot to get them close enough or use something soft as a thickness, which leads to such a draft of the strap that only about half remains attached to the Velcro

Excellent article, modular in weight. As written by other users, perhaps the size of the grip needs to be improved. If possible.
