FRACTIONAL PLATES (MY2021) – Standard IWF fractional plates

The series of Fractional Plates (also called microloads) is composed of small metal discs covered with rubber, to be able to fractionate the weight to be lifted with an Olympic barbell, available in sizes 0,125 – 0,250 – 0,5 – 1 – 1,5 – 2 – 2,5 – 5 Kg, colored according to IWF regulation.

The hole, diameter 50 mm, is not equipped with a ring but is characterized by the presence of a diaphragm capable of exerting a frictional grip on the balance wheel. Thanks to this solution, the fractional discs can be positioned outside the disc stop collars in such a way as to speed up their insertion and removal. In fact, the rubber membrane allows loading but, adhering to the disc holder, does not allow the disc to move or slip off easily due to gravity (function CLUTCH GRIP).
