9097/2 Competition Sled
Competition Sled, also called prowler sled, dog sled or power sled, is a new sled designed for preparation for functional fitness competitions such as HYROX® and DEKA®, as well as for general athletic training.
The tool, which can be loaded using discs with a 50mm diameter hole, is characterized by the presence of a 75cm long loading tube, which allows the insertion of a large number of discs, even very thick ones, such as the bumper discs in eraser.
The frame, large, heavy, non-deformable during exercises, has a double central slot for attaching the 1712 Pulling Rope, and four holes for attaching the R9097 Sled Harness.
The skates, wide and well finished, guarantee extremely smooth, constant friction, without sticking.
The push tubes, 49 mm diameter, 99 cm long (106 cm from the ground) allow for optimal grip and the implementation of all sled push techniques. The insertion of the tubulars into the frame occurs by gravity, so that the working direction can be quickly reversed, quickly moving the tubes, without having to rotate the slide. The tubular-slide coupling is in turn characterized by measures to reduce the play of the tubes to a minimum.
9097/2 Competition Sled includes the sled and a pair of push tubes (R9097/2 Push Tube).
It is possible to add the following accessories and tools to create a SLED PUSH and SLED PULL station:
- 1712 Sled Pulling Rope – nylon rope, Ø38mm, 15m, 15kg, with carabiner.
- R9097 / 2 Push Tube – pair of push tubes, Ø49mm, additional to the supplied tubes.
- R9097 Sled Harness – padded harness, quick release buckle, 220cm straps, three carabiners.
- 9192/RMH Black synthetic grass track, 17,5 x 2 m, dedicated SLED PUSH and SLED PULL markers.
Competition Sled dimensions: 605 x1030 x 1060h mm.
Weight : 40,2kg. (41,2 kg with packaging)
Maximum load 300 Kg.
The maximum load is calculated considering use on a classic synthetic grass sled track. Where the friction coefficient of the floor is increased (e.g. recycled rubber flooring) the load must be reduced accordingly.
