HIP THRUST KIT – Set of bench and tools for performing the Hip Thrust exercise
The Hip Thrust Kit is a set that allows you to fully equip a station intended for the comfortable and safe execution of the Hip Thrust exercise. The Kit includes a Hip Thrust Platform Bench cod. 9122, a pair of Barbell Support cod. 9122/1, Training Barbell 140 cod. 9014, Barbell Pad Hip Thrust cod. 9023/1 and Hip Band cod. 0606.
Exercise
The Hip Thrust (hip thrust) is an extraordinarily effective exercise in training the buttocks, especially when combined with squats, deadlifts and lunges. Furthermore, if performed free-body, with a barbell, it is useful in exercising hip extension, a weak point in the functional movements of most people, including athletes.
However, this is an exercise that can prove uncomfortable because it requires a long preparation: outrigger, discs, barbell padding, if any hip bands, I have to be gathered close to a flat bench, usually adapted to support the back.
Tools included in the Kit:
Hip thrust
Hip Thrust Platform Bench cod. 9122
THEHip Thrust Platform Bench represents a simple and convenient solution for organizing a workstation dedicated to free-body Hip Thrust. The technical measures adopted also facilitate the correct execution of the exercise. The fixed semi-cylindrical padding allows the user to position himself stably at a certain height without making the frequent mistake of performing the push by exploiting the momentum deriving from throwing the trunk backwards, arching the back and rising excessively with the hip. The platform allows correct positioning of the feet and the best stability, helping the user to concentrate on the retroversion and anteversion of the pelvis, on the short movement, on the "squeeze", without distractions resulting from the instability of the supports. The equipment of the tool is completed by six hooks for the elastics, which can be used with and without a barbell, handle and rubber wheels, for easy movement.

Barbell Support For Hip Thrust cod. 9122/1
The rocker arm supports (Barbell Support) 85 cm long, 30 high, are made of painted steel and have the particularity of being finished with a sturdy nylon edging equipped with four grooves which prevent the balance wheel from coming out freely. Features that allow the barbell to rest and slide safely, facilitating its loading (the discs do not touch the floor), the start of the exercise (detachment from a non-unfavorable position) and importantly, the entry and exit of the user (it is sufficient to slide the balance horizontally to have the whole platform free).
Weightlifting/Powerlifting Barbells
Training Barbell 140 cod. 9014
Short, compact barbell, made using the same construction solutions as Olympic barbells, but with extremely small dimensions in order to obtain a minimally bulky tool. Very useful for free exercises in a weight room or at home. Only 140 cm long, this Training Barbell however has an internal space of 100 cm, with markers at 81 cm, which allows for the widest possible uses: curls, rows, dead lifting, hip thrusts, even Olympic lifts, if there are reasons for space or weight made it necessary to adopt a short barbell. The load adapters, 16,5 cm long, do not represent a limit as they allow the insertion of plates well beyond the needs of a barbell of this type.
Accessories for Barbells
Barbell Pad Hip Thrust cod. 9023/1
Double thickness barbell pad specifically designed for this Hip Thrust exercise. To soothe the pain of the barbell resting on the pubic area, the normal standard padding created for resting the bar on the upper part of the back is not sufficient, but it is necessary to use larger and less soft padding. It is no coincidence that we often see makeshift solutions: rolled mats, cushions, pieces of rubber, etc. The Barbell Pad Hip Thrust is therefore characterized by a high thickness of the padding and the use of a high density foam covered with sturdy PVC in order to obtain a firm cushion, as well as padded and therefore capable of attenuating the high pressure of the barbell.
Elastic bands, Fit tube, Big Tubing
Hip Band cod. 0606
Resistant band in elastic fabric, sewn in a ring, characterized by an internal non-slip rubber coating.
Placed above the knees, it is used as a complementary tool in hip flexion and extension exercises, especially squats and hip thrusts, in order to obtain greater activation of the gluteus minimus medius and the tensors of the fascia latae. Hence the name Hip Band. Furthermore, especially during the execution of squats with a high overload, the use of an elastic band, placed above the knees, to be extended by pushing outwards, helps the athlete to correct the recurring error of bringing the knees closer together, bringing the legs to assume an incorrect X position.
