ECOGYM 1 cm CORNER- Technical flooring in double layer recycled rubber

Angular Component (ANGLE)  of the Ecogym code 9201, useful for creating delimited areas of Ecogym, with a straight side finish without having to cut the entire tiles, and with a machine-made chamfer on the outer edge, which makes the edge less prone to shelling.

Ecogym 1 cm is a double layer technical flooring suitable for areas where functional training is practiced and where it may be necessary to cushion the possible fall of free weights, such as kettlebells, dumbbells, barbells, etc.

EcoGym: recycled rubber granules

The main feature of the flooring is given by the production through agglomeration of recycled rubber granules. The ability to absorb shocks, in the face of a low cost, are the elements characterizing the product. The first quality is guaranteed by the granular composition, the second by the use of recycled rubber. However, the ability to absorb shocks must be correctly sized if the flooring is laid to protect an existing floor. A few millimeters of rubber cannot completely absorb every kind of shock. The force deriving from the fall of a barbell loaded with tens of kg will always be partially transferred to the underlying floor.

Double layer: fine granules above, large granules below

The coupling of a layer formed by agglomerates of large granules with a layer formed by finer granules allows to reconcile the need to have the maximum shock absorption capacity with the need to be able to train on a smooth, compact surface, less subject to shelling and picking up dirt.

Compared to normal recycled rubber flooring, EcoGym does not release high rubber residues due to use.

Interlocking puzzle: tiles that are easy to assemble and have no joints

Among the various solutions we recommend the interlocking puzzle tiles with a thickness of 10 mm. In addition to the best value for money, i.e. price and protective capacity, they are easy to assemble and to trim using a cutter.

The precision of the puzzle joint keeps the tiles together, also allowing the effective creation of rubberized islands. The absence of deviations, typical of normal straight-edge tiles, often characterized by rounded edges, avoids the presence of unsightly joints; dirt receptacle.

Other features of the EcoGym

EcoGym is produced without the use of dangerous substances ref. EEC 76/769 and without the use of adhesives containing formaldehyde ref. EN 717/1.

The tiles measure 980 x 980 mm, the interlocking assembly and trimming of the joints involve a small dimensional loss. As an indication, to calculate the number of tiles needed, 20% can be added to the square meters of the area: e.g. 30 m20 + 36% = XNUMX tiles.

As far as cleaning is concerned, it is sufficient to vacuum the floor and then wash the floor with water and detergent in minimal quantities. Deposits or white footprints may occur due to the close presence of dusty areas. In these cases floor scrubber brushes with built-in sponge are useful. For surfaces larger than 150 mXNUMX, we recommend the use of scrubber dryers with rotating brushes capable of washing and collecting dirty water.
