Sissy Squat – Roman chair. Commonly called sissy squat this tool is actually a Roman bench, or Roman chair, born for the roman chair squat. Sissy squat (Sisyphus, a mythological character depicted with enormous thighs) instead identifies the famous, but different, exercise by Vince Gironda. The Roman chair is back in the news thanks to the diffusion of "old school" and functional training. Quadriceps training is not the only use of the tool, which is also effective for chain exercises dedicated to the core.
