Elasticity and softness characterize the different models in various ways, hence the comfort and pleasantness to the touch. Also the soles of sports shoes they are made using rubbery materials but, due to their function; sports on concrete, asphalt, wooden floors, etc., they use much harder and abrasive materials. Materials, solutions and thicknesses, unsuitable for producing mats. Therefore Shoe soles are inevitably the enemy of floor mats, especially if you perform exercises that cause a high grip and therefore a high level of friction. Exercises like mountain climbing, for example, immediately ruin any mat if you don't have the foresight to keep your feet off the equipment.
