PAD BALANCE
This small EVA platform falls within the so-called unstable bases, for exercises of proprioceptivity, coordination, force, etc., (see also Bump Disc cod.3001 and similar) The particularity of the product derives from the qualities of softness and non-deformability of the EVA material, equipped with an extremely regular elastic coefficient.
Dimensions: 394 x 480 mm, height 57 mm, weight 0,9 kg
The Eva mat paves the way for many destabilizing exercises, proposing itself as a support that offers soft and delicate resistance, which does not cause tendon stress. The balance pad can be considered as a wise middle ground between one stable surface, like the floor, and a excessively unstable, such as Freeman tablet. This paves the way for many exercises that require the non-strenuous maintenance of balance, which favor the improvement of neuromuscular transmission.
The fields of application are many: from functional recovery to toning al Pilates, providing many variations of conventional exercise.
Let's think of a simple ab crunches: Is performed sitting on the Balance Pad the deep muscle fibers are activated more causing a more demanding stimulus.
Or let's imagine a push up: if practiced with the hands resting on the mat in Eva, a greater tension of the pectorals and the "core" develops due, precisely, to the slight instability induced by the Balance Pad.
Even the weight exercises take on a different dimension, approaching the concept of functional training. Try practicing a lunge with the barbell with the front limb resting on the mat, or lateral raises in support on the Balance Pads.
The need of the muscles to continuously correct the position will give an edge to the training.
