WOODEN STEP H10
Single purpose built step for performing specific weight lifting exercises.
The exercises in deficit: deadlifting deficit, snatch deficit, etc., performed with a barbell or with other weights, imply the use of a sturdy raised surface as a podium on which the athlete climbs to perform lifts from a raised position with respect to the tool support. Especially in cases where heavy weights are used, for example deadlifts with an Olympic barbell, the step must be made in such a way as to guarantee stability, sturdiness and therefore high general safety. There are also training situations that fall outside the scope of deficit exercises, in which an attempt is made to increase range of motion, but in which a step may be necessary. This is the case, for example, in which dropping mats, or drop mats, Cod. 0404 are used, i.e. cushions made to absorb the fall of the balance wheel in order to reduce noise and danger. In this context, since the cushions are 15 cm high, before being compressed by the weights, the adoption of a 10 cm high riser is optimal for restoring the work surface.
The 9114 WOODEN STEP H10 completes the series of wooden blocks for weightlifting, WOODEN JERK PLYOBLOCKS, Cod. 9113, dedicated however to raise the barbell and discs and not the athlete.
From a construction point of view, the 9114 WOODEN STEP H10 is made of solid Swedish pine plus birch plywood, excellently finished and smooth. Internally, two reinforcements placed under the foot support area prevent any possible breakthrough of the raised floor. The hand grips complete the finish of the product.
