Sidea and OUTRACE at FIBO Africa 2018: the report

A very special debut for Sidea, last weekend he concluded his first participation in FIBO Africa. the 2018 edition of this event was in fact held from 26 to 28 October in the beautiful location of the Ticket Pro Dome di Johannesburg, and brought to South Africa 86 exhibitors and visitors from all over the world.

From group workouts to athletic competitions, from fitness and nutrition conferences to shows and demonstrations: Fibo Africa 2018 it was all of this much more, including the possibility of meet and partner with fitness professionals and enthusiasts from all over the world. A real success for this event, despite the participation of Hafþór “The Mountain” Björnsson did not materialize.

After the success of the two participations in the FIBO Germany in Cologne (which will become three ad April 2019), Sidea also participated for the first time in the African edition of the most important fitness fair in the world, being part of the Technogym stand with functional training equipment and, above all, with a highly appreciated structure OUTRACE R3-750 Door.

The activities within the space dedicated to Sidea and OUTRACE was coordinated by Master Trainer Emilio Troiano, who set up different training programs for each day of the fair, involving both trainers and visitors. The first day it was in fact dedicated to the exhibition of the training possibilities of OUTRACEThrough suspension training circuits on the structure and using the various Apps, Movables and Components. During the second day the focus has shifted to the functional training, starring tools Sidea like Kettlebells, Barbells e Clave. On the last day the bar was further raised with a circuit training program that in addition to the equipment Sidea and OUTRACE also involved the Technogym Skill Line, creating an absolutely complete session for the participants.

The experience of Sidea and OUTRACE in South Africa however, it did not end together with the event on October 28th: the R3-750 structure will in fact remain in Johannesburg, where it has already been installed in a new and innovative center dedicated to combat sports, the "EFC Performance Institute“. This is the second OUTRACE installation in South Africa after that of Wellness In Motion SA, an R2-5 structure that fits perfectly into the modern context of Embassy Towers, right in Johannesburg.

A heartfelt thanks goes to all the participants and trainers, but also to the organization of this edition, who have ensured that this first FIBO Africa has proved to be absolutely unforgettable and successful for Sidea and OUTRACE.
