Sidea and OUTRACE at FIBO Africa 2018: the report

A very special debut for Sidealast weekend concluded its first participation in FIBO Africa. the 2018 edition of this event was in fact held 26-28 October in the beautiful location of the TicketPro Dome by Johannesburgand brought to South Africa 86 exhibitors and visitors from all over the world.

From group workouts to athletic competitions, from lectures on fitness and nutrition to shows and demonstrations: Fibo Africa 2018 was all that much more, including the possibility of meet and start collaborations with professionals and fitness enthusiasts from all over the world. A real success for this event, despite the participation of Hafþór 'The Mountain' Björnsson did not materialise.

After the success of the two FIBO Germany in Cologne (which will become three ad April 2019), Sidea also participated for the first time in the African edition of the world's most important fitness fair, being part of the Technogym stand with functional training equipment and, above all, with a highly appreciated OUTRACE R3-750 Door.

The activities within the space dedicated to Sidea and OUTRACE was coordinated by Master Trainer Emilio Troianowhich set up different training programmes for each day of the fair, involving both trainers and visitors. The first day was dedicated to exposing the training possibilities of OUTRACE, through suspension training circuits on the structure and using the various Apps, Movables and Components. During the second day the focus shifted to the functional training, featuring Sidea tools such as Kettlebells, Bilancieri e Clave. On the last day the bar was raised even higher with a circuit training programme which in addition to Sidea and OUTRACE equipment also involved the Technogym Skill Linecreating an absolutely comprehensive session for the participants.

The experience of Sidea and OUTRACE in South Africa however, did not end with the event on 28 October: the R3-750 facility will remain in Johannesburgwhere it has already been installed in a new and innovative centre dedicated to combat sports, the''EFC Performance Institute". This is the second OUTRACE installation in South Africa after the one in Wellness In Motion SAan R2-5 structure that fits perfectly into the modern context of the Embassy Towersright in Johannesburg.

Heartfelt thanks goes to all the participants and trainers, but also to the organisation of this edition, who made this first FIBO Africa absolutely unforgettable and successful for Sidea and OUTRACE.
