Rackstation Pack: the Sidea selection

I Rackstation Packs These comprise eleven pre-assembled configurations from the Rack Station range, designed to cater for a wide variety of training needs. The common feature is the modular support structure: robust and compact in the half-rack formats, more extensive in the full-rack versions, and adaptable with specific accessories already integrated into the standard configuration. These are not generic racks — each model is based on a specific functional design, whether it be optimising vertical space with a ladder, increasing the number of attachment points with the Cross system, or managing equipment storage directly on the frame with the Multi Storage model.

Who is the Rackstation Pack for?

Usage patterns vary considerably depending on the model chosen, but generally speaking, the Rackstation These packs are aimed at those looking for a structured solution — not just a simple squat stand — offering a ready-to-use starting point without having to build the setup from scratch componentand by component.

Professional gyms and CrossFit boxes. The Cross Model (both full and half racks) and the 2780 mm-high Ladder Pro are designed for high-traffic environments and intensive use. The Cross Model features multiple anchor points, allowing for parallel training across several exercises or with multiple athletes. The Ladder Pro, with its increased height, is ideal for gymnastic and mobility movements that require genuine vertical space.

Personal training studios. The Functional model and the Wall Bar are well suited to the needs of personal training studios with limited floor space. The Wall Bar uses the wall as a structural element, freeing up floor space. The Functional model already includes all the accessories needed for a comprehensive strength and conditioning workout in one-to-one or small-group sessions.

Advanced home gyms and garage gyms. The Standard Bar Half Rack and the Pull-Up model are the most compact options in the range, ideal for those with 6–10 m² of dedicated training space who still want a piece of kit that can handle heavy loads and allows for squats, presses and pull-ups without compromise. The Double Bar, also available in a half-rack version, adds a second bar attachment point to vary your grip.

Fitness trainers and sport-specific training. The D. Ladder and 2780 H. Ladder Pro models offer a progression in ladder training ranging from standard to advanced use, with the option of integrating suspension systems and wall bar exercises. These structures can be used in general athletic training, gymnastics and structured calisthenics.

How to choose

Choosing the right Rackstation Pack depends on three main factors: the space available, the main type of work to be carried out, and the number of users who will be using the system at the same time.

Space and ceiling height. Models with a height of 2780 mm require ceilings with at least 3 metres of clear headroom to allow for safe operation with ladders and overhead movements. Standard half-racks are more compact in both height and depth, and are better suited to rooms with ceiling heights between 2.4 and 2.8 metres.

Primary type of training. If your main focus is squats, bench presses and barbell deadlifts, the Double Bar and Standard Bar models provide a solid foundation. If the aim is to incorporate pull-ups, calisthenics and bodyweight exercises, the Ladder and Pull-Up models add vertical training surfaces. For a mixed setup that also includes storage for kettlebells, weight plates and barbells, the Multi Storage is the only configuration in the range that solves the problem of organising equipment directly on the frame.

Number of simultaneous users. Cross models allow two athletes to train simultaneously on opposite sides of the structure — a real advantage in CrossFit boxes and gyms running classes. Half-rack models, on the other hand, are designed for one athlete at a time, with more compact training spaces.

Compatibility with accessories. All Rackstation Packs are compatible with the range’s ecosystem of accessories Rack Station: J-cup, safety bar, dip attachment, cable systems. It is important to check which accessories are already included in the pack and which need to be purchased separately, depending on your specific training programme.

Flooring. Rack Stations work best on technical flooring made of rubber with a minimum thickness of 20 mm beneath the lifting points. The support surface of the structure must be levelled to ensure stability and proper load distribution.

Sidea Products for the Rackstation Pack

The range comprises eleven configurations, which can be divided into four functional groups.

Full Rack. The Rack Station Cross Model (9095M11) is the four-upright version with front and rear anchoring systems. The Rack Station Multi Storage Model (9095M10) adds an integrated storage system for discs, barbells and accessories. The Rack Station Double Bar (9095M8) features two pull-up bars at different heights, ideal for varying your grip and working angle. The Ladder models — 2780 H. Ladder (9095M4), D. Ladder (9095M6) and 2780 H. Ladder Pro (9095M7) — are distinguished by the height of the ladder and the number of levels available. The Functional model (9095M5) and the Wall Bar (9095M3) complete the full rack range with freestanding and wall-mounted solutions respectively. The Pull-Up (9095M2) is the most basic model in the series, optimised for pull-ups and vertical training.

Half Rack. The Half Rack Station Standard Bar Model (9095M9) and the Half Rack Cross Model (9095M12) replicate the design principles of their corresponding full-rack models in a compact format, whilst remaining compatible with the same accessories but with a footprint that is 30–40% smaller.

For those looking to explore more compact or wall-mounted rack solutions, the category Smart Racks offers complementary alternatives to the Rackstation range.

Domande frequenti - rackstation pack

  • A Rackstation Pack is a pre-assembled configuration featuring accessories selected to suit a specific usage profile. Buying a pack simplifies the choice and ensures compatibility between the components included. Building a rack from scratch using individual components offers greater flexibility, but requires a more in-depth understanding of the system and the available accessories. For those starting from scratch, a pack is often the most efficient place to begin.
  • Yes. All models in the Rackstation range are compatible with the Sidea ecosystem of accessories: J-cups, safety pins, dip bars, cable systems and other attachments. The accessories included in the pack constitute the basic kit, but the frame is designed to accommodate future additions without the need for structural modifications.
  • Load ratings vary by model and should be checked in the technical data sheet for each individual product. In general, Sidea Rack Stations are designed for professional use with barbell loads typical of strength training: squats, bench presses and overhead presses. For applications involving extreme loads or competitive use, it is advisable to contact the Sidea technical team for a specific assessment.
  • A half rack is generally 30–40% shallower than the corresponding full rack, as it uses two front uprights instead of four. The floor space required for a half rack Sidea is typically between 120 and 140 cm in depth, compared with 200–240 cm for a full rack. The width remains similar between the two versions.
  • Yes. The Rack Station Wall Bar is anchored to a load-bearing wall made of solid masonry or reinforced concrete. It is not compatible with plasterboard walls or lightweight partition walls. Before installation, you must check the load-bearing capacity of the wall and use wall plugs suitable for the material. Sidea can provide technical guidance on installation on request.
  • The D. Ladder and 2780 H. Ladder Pro models feature a ladder that allows for typical calisthenics movements: front lever progressions, hanging leg raises and high-bar L-sits. The Ladder Pro, with its total height of 2780 mm, offers more attachment levels and is better suited to advanced calisthenics training than the standard model.
