PILATES BALL 1.0 kg
The 1.0 kg Pilates Ball is a heavy ball that is excellent for rehabilitation and for training the arms, shoulders and upper body. Small and soft (diameter approx. 11 cm), made of durable rubber (100% PVC - NO LATEX) filled with sand, it is also an excellent tool for group training.
Thanks to its moderate weight, it is easy to grip and lends itself to a variety of uses: Pilates, holistic, HIIT, joint mobility and rehabilitation. Although the name suggests a specific Pilates tool, in reality, these balls are used in many types of training, often in combination with other tools, e.g. step.

Training with Pilates Balls
Pilates Balls allow for variations in a Pilates class, providing a small load that benefits a muscle-building process and thus offering the opportunity to intensify exercises. A roll-upfor example, which becomes more intense when holding the Pilates Ball, but also a spine twist By keeping one ball in each hand, it becomes more tiring for both the shoulders and the diagonal lines that support the action.
Pilates balls can also be used as supports to be held under the sacrum or under the occipital area, to correct supine decubitus positions. The balls also have a destabilising effect: if, for example, you perform the bird dog extensioni.e., the stretching of the opposite leg and arm from a quadrupedal position, holding the 0.5 kg Pilates Ball creates greater tension in the core, tension that is really noticeable.
