WOODEN STEP H10
Specially constructed single step for performing specific weightlifting exercises.
Deficit exercises: deficit deadlifts, deficit snatches, etc., performed with a barbell or other weights, involve the use of a sturdy raised platform acting as a podium on which the athlete climbs to perform lifts from a position elevated above the equipment support surface. Particularly in cases where heavy weights are used, e.g. Olympic barbell deadlifts, the step should be constructed in such a way as to ensure stability, robustness and thus high general safety. There are also training situations that do not fall within the scope of deficit exercises, in which an attempt is made to increase the range of movement, but in which a step may be necessary. This is the case, for example, when dropping mats, or drop mats, are used, Code 0404, i.e. cushions designed to absorb the fall of the barbell in order to reduce noise and danger. In this context, as the cushions are 15 cm high, before being compressed by the weights, the adoption of a 10 cm high riser is optimal to restore the work surface.
The 9114 WOODEN STEP H10 completes the series of wooden weightlifting blocks, WOODEN JERK PLYOBLOCKS, code 9113dedicated, however, to lifting the barbell and discs and not the athlete.
In terms of construction, the 9114 WOODEN STEP H10 is made of solid Swedish pine wood plus birch plywood, which has been beautifully finished and sanded. Internally, two reinforcements placed under the foot rest area prevent any possible breakage of the raised surface. Hand grips complete the product's finish.
