GYM ROPE - Functional training rope Ø 50 mm
The Gym Rope (also known as 'naval rope' or 'battle rope') is a robust rope for functional training. It differs from the code 1711 Easy Gym Rope for larger dimensions, having an overall length of 15 m, a diameter of 50 mm and a weight of 15 kg. It is a single rope, to be used by passing it through an anchor point (such as the 9062/1 Universal Wall Anchor) so that you have two arms of 7.5 m each.
Certainly among the most attractive pieces of equipment in the world of Functional Training, ropes, when skilfully manoeuvred, become a perfect overall training tool. Integrating this equipment into one's gym workouts is indeed a great help in strengthening grip strength.
Having a strong and secure grip is essential for handling any object outside the body, both in sporting activities (tennis, golf, baseball, fencing, sport climbing, throwing sports, combat sports, etc.) and in normal everyday activities, and training with the Gym Rope is one of the most effective in reinforcing this quality.
Furthermore, performing high-speed movements with a medium load (the weight of the battle rope itself) leads to a rapid increase in intensity during the training session. This makes it a perfect tool within interval circuits (Interval Training), resulting in one of the highest intensity stations for both aerobic (cardiovascular) and anaerobic (lactacid muscle) intensity.
