Big Tubing elastics find application in many contexts: from functional fitness to athletic training. Restrained running is certainly the best-known exercise, but it is possible to use the equipment in various ways, including using handles and eye bars, for specific exercises.
Elastics are produced in two strengths: POWER and EASY, and can be purchased individually or as part of kits.

1695 Easy Big Tubing Kit
The version Easymedium to low resistance, makes it possible to use the elastic band very safely, even with elderly people, and to be able to perform a variety of exercises, such as lateral running, running backwards, four-legged running, jumping, or climbing on raised floors. Or exercises with a ball; football, basketball, volleyball or medicine ball. Or complex exercises involving the simulation of specific gestures belonging to certain disciplines. The Easy Big Tubing is therefore, due to its medium-low resistance, a multi-purpose rubber band, not strictly dedicated to restrained running.
However, by using two or three Easy Big Tubings at the same time, high resistances can be achieved.. By equipping themselves with an additional set of Big Tubing elastics (both Power and Easy), the athlete can have a useful range of elastics to meet different training needs.

The Power version, which has a higher resistance than the Easy model, is useful in all those contexts in which you work with athletes as part of specific restrained running or strengthening exercises. In this case too, it is possible to use two or three elastics at the same time, depending on requirements. The contexts of use can be very different; think of the different ability to extend an elastic band between a light athlete training barefoot on a floor with little grip and a very heavy athlete training with cleated shoes on grass.

Big Tubing and Functional Training
