  • The All-In-One Rack combines a cable system with adjustable pulleys, a barbell rack and accessory stations into a single unit. A traditional Power Rack is designed for free-weight barbell exercises: squats, bench presses, military presses and rack pulls. The All-In-One takes up a similar amount of space but accommodates a wider range of exercises, making it ideal for personal training studios or home gyms where versatility is needed within a limited space.
  • For use in commercial weight rooms with powerlifting loads, J-hooks and safety spotters must be able to support at least 400 kg statically. The Sidea High Performance and All-In-One Rack Premium models are made from heavy-gauge steel with polymer coatings at the contact points to protect the barbell’s knurling during racking and failure tests.
  • Yes, provided it is fitted with height-adjustable safety spotters and a base with a sufficiently large footprint to prevent tipping. Half racks, such as the Rack Station Cross Model, work well for individual training on squats, bench presses, military presses and rack pulls. For CrossFit boxes with several athletes training at the same time, a full-size or modular rack is preferable.
  • The Public Island range and certain Outrace configurations are treated for outdoor installation with UV- and moisture-resistant coatings. These structures comply with regulations for public areas such as urban parks and seafronts. For municipal parks and MEPA installations, Sidea provides technical documentation and ground-anchoring specifications.
  • A Rack Station with two connected stations requires approximately 4 × 2.5 metres of structural space, to which at least 1.5 metres must be added on each side as a safety zone for barbell drops and side exits. In CrossFit boxes with continuous rigs, the approach is different: the calculation is based on modules of 1.2 linear metres per athlete, with a space of 1.8 metres between them.
  • A High Performance Pack is a pre-assembled configuration featuring a high-performance structural rack. It offers a wide range of configurations and optional extras, such as: storage for bumpers and accessories, J-hooks, spotter arms and adjustment inserts. It is designed for comprehensive training areas where multiple coordinated stations are required. The highest technical standard.
  • All Sidea racks and frames are designed for Olympic barbells with a 50 mm diameter at the bushing, for both weightlifting and powerlifting. The internal spacing of the uprights in standard configurations is calibrated for barbells measuring 2.2 metres (men’s) and 2.01 metres (women’s). Models such as the Luxiaojun barbells distributed by Sidea are fully compatible.
  • Yes. It is always recommended to install specialist flooring; the thickness of this varies depending on the sports practised. For example, beneath a rack used for Olympic weightlifting or powerlifting, flooring at least 20 mm thick made from high-density recycled rubber should be laid, preferably with impact-absorbing inserts in the landing zone. Sidea offers Ecofit Rubber Floor as a dedicated solution for use beneath racks and platforms, to absorb the energy from drop bumpers.
  • Yes, the Rack Station was designed as a modular system. Starting with the basic Power Cage Rack, you can add side extensions, storage plates, multi-grip pull-up bars, monkey bars, spotter arms and landmines. Sidea offers a Gym Design service with 3D renderings to check dimensions, clearances and workflow in advance, before production and installation.
  • Routine maintenance is minimal: periodic checks to ensure bolts are tight, visual inspection of welds at load-bearing points, and replacement of the bushings in the Cable Station pulleys every 24–48 months, depending on usage and wear and tear. For the Public Island and Outrace outdoor structures, we recommend a six-monthly inspection of the paintwork and ground anchors.
