8800/4 - 8800/6 Adjustable dumbbells

LOADING DUMBERS - 50 mm diameter adapters, weight 4 and 6 kg

Loadable dumbbells, also called adjustable dumbbells or modular dumbbells, are sold individually and are available in two versions:

• code 8800/4 length 38 cm, load adapters 10 cm, weight 4 kg
• code 8800/6 length 52 cm, load adapters 17 cm, weight 6 kg

From a constructional point of view, in order to be able to use the same discs that can be used on Olympic barbells (50 mm bore) and their disc stop collars, the loadable dumbbells have been constructed just like 'mini-barbells', with 50 mm diameter rotating load adapters, mounted on 28 mm diameter bars by means of bushings and bearings.

The solution is practical and extremely effective in allowing the widest variability of loads depending on the athletes and exercises. The grip (diameter 28 mm, length 15.5 cm) has a medium diamond knurling.

Length of loadable dumbbells

The 4 kg model code 8800/4, long 38 cm (like a 24 kg Hex Rubber Dumbbell), it is compact and easy to handle, but the load adapter is 10 cm, from which at least 4 cm must be removed for the disc clamps code 9016/1, which we recommend. The 6 kg model code 8800/6, 52 cm long, is less manoeuvrable but equipped with 17 cm load adapters.

It should also be noted that the modularity of these dumbbells, and above all the possibility of using different disc clamping systems, requires the user to carry out appropriate tests and evaluations, depending on the load and dynamics of the exercises.

In fact, any possible danger to persons and property should be carefully prevented.
