9087K2 Nüobell® Dumbbell Pack — Multifunctional + Adjustable Dumbbells 2–32 kg

The 9087K2 is a configuration designed for those seeking comprehensive functionality without taking up too much space. The base is the 9087 All-in-One Machine, Sidea multifunction with selectable load. A pair of Nüobell adjustable dumbbells, 2–32 kg, with a dedicated storage rack. The result is a training station capable of accommodating guided exercises, single-joint isolation exercises, multi-joint free-weight patterns and metabolic protocols.

Nüobell dumbbells are the international benchmark in the premium adjustable category. The weight is selected by turning the knob: 16 increments from 2 to 32 kg per dumbbell. The included rack ensures tidy storage and immediate access between sets.

Contents of the Pack

• Code 9087 All-in-One Machine × 1 pc.
• Code 8900 Rack for Adjustable Dumbbell × 1 item.
• Code 8900/32 Adjustable Dumbbells 2–32 kg × 1 pair

Configuration Logic

The 9087 features guided stations for the lat machine, pectoral press, shoulder press, low row, leg extension and leg curl. These cover the main multi-joint exercises with stabilised movement paths, which are useful for controlled load progression and for users embarking on a strength training programme.

Nüobell dumbbells cover the full range of movements: single-joint exercises such as alternating curls, lateral raises, front raises and overhead French presses; multi-joint movements such as dumbbell shoulder presses, goblet squats, Bulgarian lunges and single-arm rows; metabolic and functional exercises such as thrusters, farmer’s walks, single-arm cleans, snatches and dumbbell burpees.

From a single workstation, you can:

• Vertical lat machine → lateral raises with dumbbells
• Guided chest press → flat bench press with dumbbells
• Shoulder press machine → dumbbell shoulder press
• Leg extension → Bulgarian lunges with dumbbells
• Guided low row → one-arm dumbbell row

This overlap increases the stimulus density per unit area. Machine exercises allow you to safely perform movements at fixed angles; dumbbells force the nervous system to stabilise free-range movements, recruiting motor units accessoriesand by improving neuromuscular control.

Nüobell Dumbbells: Technology and Usability

The Nüobell system is based on a ‘dial-a-weight’ mechanism. Each dumbbell contains 16 overlapping weight increments. Turn the central knob, and the internal mechanism engages only the discs corresponding to the selected load. The others remain in the rack. Switching from 8 kg to 28 kg takes 2 seconds. You don’t need to remove collars, add weights or rebalance the load.

This type of adjustment is crucial in intensive personal training or home gym settings, where load changes between clients (or between supersets) need to be quick. Traditional dumbbells with stackable discs take time to adjust and create a mess. Nüobell dumbbells eliminate this operational hassle.

The rack included in the pack isn’t just a simple stand: it’s designed to hold the dumbbells in the selection position. You place the dumbbell on it, turn it, and lift. The movement is seamless.

Target Profiles

Advanced home gyms: If you have a 3×3-metre space at home and want a complete solution without cluttering the room with separate pieces of kit, the 9087K2 covers the 90% range of strength and conditioning exercises. You can train your chest, back, shoulders, arms, legs and core all from a single station. The cost per square metre of floor space is excellent.

Personal trainer studio: In a personal training studio with 2–3 clients per session, you can have one client working on the chest press machine whilst another performs shoulder presses with dumbbells. This increases training density and reduces downtime. Adjustable dumbbells mean you don’t have to store 10 pairs of fixed dumbbells.

Boutique gyms and fitness hotels: In smaller commercial spaces (30–50 m²), the 9087K2 offers a comprehensive range of features without visually cluttering the space. A hotel guest or boutique customer can complete a full-body workout without having to switch between five different machines.

Wellness and physiotherapy centres: The guided component of the 9087 is useful for patients recovering from injury. The Nüobell dumbbells allow for gradual progression (in 2 kg increments) through specific strengthening exercises, such as scapular elevations or external rotations with a light dumbbell.

Operational Considerations

The 9087K2 is not a substitute for a squat rack with an Olympic barbell. If your focus is on powerlifting or pure weightlifting, you’ll need a Sidea rack-mounted unit specialised. But if your goal is general strength training, metabolic conditioning, non-specialist athletic training, muscle hypertrophy and functional training, the 9087K2 covers the entire spectrum.

The multi-function machine allows you to train safely with progressive loads without the need for a spotter. Dumbbells offer freedom of movement and proprioceptive stimulation. The integration of the two systems broadens the range of available motor skills, increases the variety of stimuli and reduces the risk of neuromuscular adaptation.

The dumbbell rack can be positioned next to the machine or integrated into the gym layout. In home gym set-ups, many customers place the rack in front of the multi-gym, creating a dedicated dumbbell area. In personal training studios, the rack can be moved on castors (if mounted on a mobile trolley) to optimise space between different sessions.

Comparison with Alternative Solutions

A complete set of fixed dumbbells ranging from 2 to 32 kg (16 pairs) takes up around 2 linear metres of rack space and weighs over 500 kg. The cost is in the region of €1,500–2,000. Nüobell dumbbells take up 40 cm of rack space, weigh 32 kg per pair and cost less than a complete set. In terms of space to functionality, the ratio is 10:1.

A commercial multi-gym with separate stations (lat machine + chest press + shoulder press + leg extension) takes up 8–12 m² and costs €4,000–6,000. The 9087 All-In-One incorporates the same functions into 2.5 m² at a lower cost. The functional density per square metre is higher.

The 9087K2 is not a budget entry-level solution. It is a configuration designed for those who want a comprehensive system, high-quality build, operational versatility and a compact design, and who are prepared to invest in a permanent workstation.

Delivery

The set is dispatched in three separate parcels: the 9087 multi-function unit, the Nüobell handlebars with rack, and accessories. Assembling the multi-function unit takes around 90 minutes (two people). The handlebars and rack are ready for use without any assembly required.

Who the 9087K2 is NOT Suitable For

If your aim is to specialise in powerlifting (squats, bench press and deadlifts with an Olympic barbell), you’ll need a rack with spotter arms, a safety bar and a platform. The 9087K2 does not offer these features.

If you’re training groups of five or more athletes at the same time in high-intensity sessions with rapid rotations, a single station becomes a bottleneck. In that case, you need a multi-station layout with modular racks and functional training equipment distributed.

If you’re looking for an entry-level machine to get started with, there are simpler options available. The 9087K2 is designed for users who already know what they want and are looking for a definitive setup.
