ADJUSTABLE ANKLE WEIGHTS - Adjustable ankles (max. 5 kg each)

Pair of anklets with adjustable weight, 5 + 5 kg, for free-body exercises with progressive overload. Manufactured in nylon, the ankle straps are adjustable by inserting 10 + 10 metal cylinders weighing 500 g each into special Velcro pockets. A 5 cm high band, also with Velcro, facilitates adjustment and adherence to the leg, which, in the case of such heavy ankle straps, must be optimal.
To further improve the fit on the leg, the new 2024 model features increased internal padding and a lace-up compared to the previous model.

The weight of 5 kg per anklet is, in our opinion, the maximum achievable weight for this type of tool. Tests with heavier weights have in fact shown a poor fit of the prototypes due to their excessive size in relation to the lower leg. 5 kg may appear to be a theoretically not too demanding weight, whereas in reality this overload is very high for most users.

Sprints, leg sprints, crunches, free body exercises and metabolic activities with a 5 kg overload on each ankle are physically demanding and must be correctly assessed and performed. For this reason, we have chosen to make the 5 kg ankle straps adjustable so that the user can proceed through progressive loads.
