9097/2V Competition Sled

The current Competition Sled Sidea represents the evolution of a well-established design, the result of several successive redesigns developed on the basis of feedback from a growing number of gyms, functional fitness studios and training centres that use the Sidea sled for athletic training, metabolic conditioning and preparation for HYROX® and DEKA® competitions.

Also known as the Prowler Sled, Dog Sled or Power Sled, the Competition Sled features a wide, heavy, structurally non-deformable frame designed to maintain stability and integrity even under heavy loads and intensive use. The frame features a double central slot for attaching the 1712 Sled Pulling Rope and four dedicated attachment points for the R9097 Sled Harness, allowing for safe and repeatable sled pull exercises.

The wide and carefully finished skid pads ensure smooth and constant friction, preventing jamming and ensuring continuity of movement on dedicated artificial turf tracks.

The push tubulars, with a diameter of 49 mm and a length of 99 cm (height from the ground 106 cm), are designed to offer an optimal grip and allow the execution of all the main sled push techniques provided for in training and competition protocols.

Insertion of the tubulars into the frame is by gravity, allowing a quick change of working direction by simply moving the tubes, without the need to rotate the slide. The tubular-slide coupling is also designed to minimise play, improving precision, stability and control during operation.

The central stainless steel disc holder, diameter 49 mm, length 85 cm, is designed to allow high loadings, even with wide shouldered rubber discs or discs of low weight. The use of stainless steel guarantees maximum durability, preventing wear due to repeated insertion of discs and ensuring constant smoothness and reliability over time.

The 9097/2 Competition Sled includes the complete sled and a pair of R9097/2 Push Tubes.

For a complete SLED PUSH and SLED PULL workstation, the following accessories can be integrated:

• 1712 Sled Pulling Rope - nylon rope, Ø38mm, 15m, 15kg, with karabiner.
• R9097/2 Push Tube - pair of push tubes, Ø49mm, additional to the tubes supplied.
• R9097 Sled Harness - padded harness, quick release buckle, 220cm straps, three carabiners.
• 9192/RMH Black artificial turf runway, 17.5 x 2 m, dedicated SLED PUSH and SLED PULL markers.

The maximum load is calculated considering use on synthetic grass sled tracks. On surfaces with a higher coefficient of friction (e.g. recycled rubber flooring), the load must be reduced proportionally.
