BARBELL SUPPORTS for HIP THRUST - Pair of BARBELL SUPPORTS

Barbell Supports are an important accessory that can greatly increase the usability of the 9122/1 Hip Thrust Platform Bench. For this reason they are highly recommended, even though they may seem unusual compared to the very uncomfortable habit of starting the workout with the barbell resting on your legs.

At 93 cm long and 30 cm high, the Barbell Supports are made of painted steel and have the special feature of being finished with a strong nylon edging with two raised tips at both ends, which prevent the barbell from protruding freely.

Features that allow the barbell to rest and slide securely, facilitating the loading of the barbell (the discs do not touch the floor), the start of the exercise (take-off from a non-unfavourable position) and, importantly, the entry and exit of the user (simply slide the barbell horizontally to have the entire platform free).

On a technical level, the Hip Thrust equipped with Barbell Supports helps in the correct execution of the movement as it reduces the instinctive mistake of performing the exercise with wide thrusts that involve the back and legs.

On the contrary, the Hip Thrust exercise implies a very limited ROM, so as to isolate the hip movement, avoiding going too low (ankle and leg action) and too high (back action).

The presence of the barbell supports completely prevents the first error (going too low), eliminating the premise of the second (going too high due to the high inertia caused by the amplitude of the momentum).
