HIP THRUST PLATFORM BENCH - Hip Thrust Platform Bench
The Hip Thrust Platform Bench is a bench equipped with a platform for convenient execution of the Hip Thrust. This is an extraordinarily effective exercise for training the buttocks, especially when combined with squats, deadlifts and lunges. When performed free-body, with a barbell, it is also useful in exercising hip extension, a weak point in the functional movements of most people, including athletes.
This exercise can be uncomfortable, however, because it involves a lot of preparation: barbell, discs, barbell padding, Hip Band if applicable, must be gathered near a Flat Bench, usually adapted to support the back. In this sense, the Hip Thrust Platform Bench represents a simple and convenient solution for organising a workstation dedicated to free-body Hip Thrust. The technical expedients adopted also facilitate the correct execution of the exercise.
In fact, the fixed semi-cylindrical padding allows the user to position himself stably at a certain height, without making the frequent mistake of performing the thrust by exploiting the momentum resulting from throwing back the trunk, arching the back and rising excessively with the hip.
The platform, on the other hand, allows for correct foot positioning and the best stability, helping the user to concentrate on pelvic retroversion and anteversion, short movement, and squeeze, without distractions from unstable supports.
Six elastic hooks, which can be used with and without a barbell, handle and rubber wheels for easy movement, complete the equipment.
