0003 Sidea Big-Shield Umbrella

Its neoprene handle, automatic opening and octagonal shape of no less than 140 cm make the Sidea umbrella a practical and effective shield against adverse weather conditions.
The umbrella canopy features a double canopy with eight openings, an ideal solution for large umbrellas. This configuration, also known as a 'double canopy', allows the wind to pass through the umbrella, reducing pressure on the structure. This makes the umbrella more stable and less prone to tipping over or breaking in strong gusts of wind.

To ensure lightness and manageability, the pole is made of fibreglass and has a tensile strength of approximately 35 kg. Consequently, the umbrella should not be used as a walking stick or support and could be damaged if subjected to high loads, such as the weight of a person accidentally sitting on it, e.g. on a car seat.

In strong winds, we recommend holding the pole as close to the canopy as possible to reduce leverage and improve stability.
