Professional golf-style umbrella

The Sidea Big-Shield Umbrella is a large, golf-style umbrella designed to protect against rain and sun. The neoprene handle, automatic opening mechanism and octagonal shape, measuring a full 140 cm, make the Sidea umbrella a practical and effective shield against adverse weather conditions.

Double windproof shell

The umbrella canopy features a double-layered design with eight openings, an ideal solution for large umbrellas. This configuration, also known as a “double canopy”, allows the wind to pass through the umbrella, reducing the pressure on the frame. As a result, the umbrella is more stable and less likely to tip over or break in the event of strong gusts of wind.

Fibreglass pole

To ensure it is lightweight and easy to handle, the shaft is made of fibreglass and has a tensile strength of approximately 35 kg. Consequently, the umbrella must not be used as a walking stick or support and may be damaged if subjected to heavy loads, such as the weight of a person accidentally sitting on it, for example on a car seat.

Use in strong winds

In strong winds, it is advisable to hold the pole as close as possible to the canopy to reduce the lever arm and improve stability.
