TECHNICAL SHEET
-
The diameter of the grip affects your grip and comfort: the 32 mm Wooden Rings offer a larger contact surface than the 28 mm models, making them more comfortable for athletes with large hands or for prolonged sessions. The 28 mm rings, on the other hand, offer greater control for technical movements and are the preferred choice in artistic gymnastics. The choice depends on hand size and the type of training.
-
Yes, the 32 mm Wooden Rings are fitted with adjustable straps featuring printed numerical markings that make it easier to achieve a symmetrical setup. This feature allows you to quickly adjust the height of the rings to the same measurement, ensuring balance during suspension and gymnastics exercises, without having to measure them manually each time.
-
No, the wooden texture of the 32 mm Wooden Rings is smooth and well-polished to ensure a perfect grip even without chalk. The natural feel of the wood provides sufficient grip for most exercises. The use of chalk is optional and may be useful in cases of heavy sweating or for movements that require maximum grip.
-
The straps supplied with the 32 mm Wooden Rings are each 2.8 metres long. This length allows the rings to be hung from structures of varying heights, from home wall bars to professional gym racks, ensuring installation flexibility for home gyms, boxing gyms and sports centres alike.
-
Yes, the 32 mm Wooden Rings are designed for suspension training and gymnastics, so they can be used for advanced exercises such as muscle-ups, dips, front levers and planches. The 172 mm internal diameter and the strength of the wood ensure stability even during the dynamic, high-intensity movements typical of calisthenics.
-
The 32 mm Wooden Rings are fitted with adjustable straps that wrap round beams, rack bars, wall bars or support structures. The straps use a buckle or loop system that allows for quick and secure adjustment. For permanent installations, the straps can be secured to certified ceiling hooks or wall anchors.
-
The 32 mm Wooden Rings can be used outdoors on suitable structures such as playground bars or sturdy branches. However, wood is sensitive to prolonged exposure to damp: after outdoor use, it is advisable to dry the rings and store them in a dry place to preserve their texture and prevent warping or cracking over time.
-
The technical specifications provided by the manufacturer do not specify an explicit maximum load, but the 32 mm Wooden Rings are designed for professional use in gymnastics and calisthenics, disciplines that involve dynamic loads exceeding body weight. For information on the certified load capacity, we recommend contacting Sidea before purchasing.
