Statutory guarantee of conformity
Goods purchased on sideaita.it by a consumer – that is, a natural person buying for purposes unrelated to their professional activity – are covered by the statutory guarantee of conformity for two years from the date of delivery (Consumer Code, Articles 128 et seq.). This is the official notice from the European Union summarising the key points.

Text of the notice
A minimum statutory guarantee of two years for goods sold within the European Union.
Consumers may exercise their rights under the statutory guarantee of conformity, for example if the goods:
- do not match the description;
- do not work as intended.
Sellers are responsible for any lack of conformity existing at the time of delivery of the goods and which becomes apparent within the statutory warranty period. In such cases, sellers are obliged to offer:
- repair or replacement free of charge;
- in some cases, a price reduction or a full refund.
Some countries have a longer statutory warranty period. A shorter period may apply to second-hand goods, but it must not be less than one year. To find out more about your rights in a particular country, please see europa.eu/youreurope/garanzie, the page linked to by the QR code, or ask the seller for information.
What to do if you receive goods that do not comply with the specifications
- Contact the seller as soon as possible to report the problem: for Sidea, [email protected];
- provide proof of purchase, such as a receipt, an invoice or a bank statement.
The terms and conditions of sale, including those for business-to-business customers, are set out in the Terms and Conditions of Sale.
