POWER BIG TUBING - Retained running kit with high-strength elastic band

Big Tubing elastics find application in many contexts: from functional fitness to athletic training. Restrained running is certainly the best-known exercise, but it is possible to use the equipment in various ways, including using handles and eye bars, for specific exercises.

Elastics are produced in two strengths: POWER and EASY, and can be purchased individually or as part of kits.

1695 Easy Big Tubing Kit

The Easy version, medium-low resistance, makes it possible to use the elastic band in great safety, even with elderly people, and to perform a variety of exercises, such as lateral running, running backwards, four-legged running, jumping, or climbing on raised floors. Or exercises with a ball; football, basketball, volleyball or medicine ball. Or complex exercises involving the simulation of specific gestures belonging to certain disciplines. The Easy Big Tubing is therefore, due to its medium-low resistance, a multi-purpose rubber band, not strictly dedicated to restrained running.

However, by using two or three Easy Big Tubings at the same time, high resistances can be achieved.. By equipping themselves with an additional set of Big Tubing elastics (both Power and Easy), the athlete can have a useful range of elastics to meet different training needs.

1699 Power Big Tubing

The Power version, which has a higher resistance than the Easy model, is useful in all those contexts in which you work with athletes as part of specific restrained running or strengthening exercises. In this case too, it is possible to use two or three elastics at the same time, depending on requirements. The contexts of use can be very different; think of the different ability to extend an elastic band between a light athlete training barefoot on a floor with little grip and a very heavy athlete training with cleated shoes on grass.

However, by using two or three Power Big Tubing at the same time, very high resistances can be achieved.. By equipping themselves with an additional set of Big Tubing elastics (both Power and Easy), the athlete can have a useful range of elastics to meet different training needs.

Big Tubing and Functional Training

We have described the concept of functional training equipment through this summary: equipment dedicated to global training where movements are not sectoralised, isolating the muscles responsible for them, but motor skills are trained as a whole. Everyday life requires global movements, and even more so the action of an athlete requires global skills.

For this reason, functional training equipment is designed to stimulate the neuromuscular-skeletal-articular system, the core of movement, and has joint mobility and complex movement culture as a prerequisite for its full and correct use. Functional training is indispensable if one wishes to improve the efficiency and health of the human body.

Big Tubing elastics fit perfectly into this global training framework and therefore represent ideal equipment for functional training and athletic preparation: strength exercises and, depending on the resistance of the elastic band, specific strength, with particular reference to coordination, understood as the ability of the central nervous system to organise motor gestures in a high-performance manner.

Going into the specifics, Big Tubing is very useful for exercises performed on the transverse plane of movement and exercises requiring a high degree of pelvic activation. Exercises that are often complicated to learn but which find in the possibility of managing the resistance of the elastic a facilitating factor precisely in terms of learning and personalising the work. Other applications

Big Tubing is also suitable for aerobic endurance training with a wide range of solutions. It can also be combined with the use of a ball (football, basketball, volleyball or medicine ball) or included in complex exercises involving the simulation of specific gestures belonging to certain disciplines.

Not to be underestimated, again in terms of training, is the fact that the rubber band obviously also offers resistance during the return phase (springback), which implies a high degree of control of the movement according to a dynamic and load variation, which only the rubber band can reproduce.
