0406 Landing Mat

LANDING MAT - ANTI-FALL MATTRESS

Landing Mat - Sports mattress, landing and drop, for gyms and athletic training areas.

Made of soft, high-density polyurethane foam, 25 kg/m3, 240x150x h.15 cm (closed 120x150x h.30 cm), covered in resistant PVC, it is foldable and equipped with handles. It is therefore characterised by its large dimensions combined with remarkable transportability and practicality.

It is recommended for those using climbing ropes and suspension training equipment; flying, rings, hammocks, or structures involving skill exercises, callisthenic exercises. For reasons of space, e.g. to fit inside racks, or to achieve greater fall absorption, it is also possible to fold the mat in half, thus using the double thickness.

As with the 0405 Big Mat, in addition to cushioning falls, it can also be used as a work surface for pre-sport, sports, and rehabilitation exercises, with particular reference to functional training on an unstable base, preparatory to improving coordination and balance.

Landing Mat is variously referred to as; mattress fall, landing mattress, fall mattress, trauma mattress, anti-fall mattress, protection mattress, etc. It is important that those in charge of gyms and fitness centres, where facilities are introduced that lead users to perform exercises at height or in even moderate suspension, do not underestimate the importance of equipping the areas with aids that can protect people in the event of a fall.

0406 Landing Mat closed (120×150, thickness 30 cm) complies with the requirements of European Standard EN 12503-1 (04/2013) - Part 1: Gymnastic mattresses, safety requirements, relating to Type 7 and Type 8 mattresses, in relation to shock absorption.
