FLYING - Suspension training
Flying is a tool made of polyester straps, buckles, handles and a carabiner. With Flying you work using your own weight through numerous exercises for beginners, for advanced athletes, for group training, and for customised training. Flying is a multifunctional piece of equipment that originates from gymnastic rings and can be used as rings with separate arms, or in the more familiar triangle configuration.
The Flying Suspension Training system falls within the scope of functional training, which has been enjoying a certain amount of success lately and is likely to influence future trends in athletic training and fitness.
Materials used and technical specifications of Flying
In terms of construction, the Flying is characterised by the high quality resulting from a careful selection of materials and components. The buckles are made of metal.
The handles are made of reinforced polypropylene. The material, commonly referred to as a hard plastic, offers the same strength characteristics as metal but has a lower tolerance in moulding.
When open, the Flying buckle lets the ribbon pass through with great ease, and when closed, it locks it in place with maximum precision, without sagging.
A characteristic, that of robustness, which is even more necessary for the handle, which is subjected to very intense work. For this reason, all rubbery materials and all types of foam were discarded, which are not suitable for withstanding, over time, the friction fatigue resulting from the user's grip.
The Flying consists of two adjustable straps with a handle and fabric foot straps, a carabiner and a lanyard for attachment. The Flying comes already assembled and only needs to be attached and used. It can be attached to anything as long as it can bear weight. At home, it can be attached to a door by tying a double knot in the lanyard, or by using the attachment accessory (code 2092/1 Anchor Door).
The straps are adjustable from approximately 100 to 155 cm, excluding the lanyard (95 cm) and the foot straps (15 cm). The lanyard can be mounted, single, double, rolled or unmounted, in order to change the overall length of the tool. If you opt not to mount the lanyard, the Flying can also be used doubled, i.e. with separate straps.
