Materials used and technical specifications of Flying
The Flying is characterised by high quality resulting from a careful selection of materials and components. Handles and buckles are made of reinforced polypropylene. This material, commonly referred to as a hard plastic, offers the same strength characteristics as metal but has a lower tolerance in moulding. This choice allows the buckles to be tightened much more precisely than any other material. When open, the Flying buckle lets the belt pass through with great ease, and when closed, it clamps it with maximum precision, without sagging. This characteristic, that of robustness, is even more necessary for the handle, which is subjected to very intensive work. For this reason, all rubbery materials and all types of foam have been discarded, which are not suitable for withstanding, over time, the friction fatigue resulting from the user's grip.
Flying consists of two adjustable straps equipped with a handle and fabric foot straps, and a carabiner for docking. The Flying arrives already assembled and only needs to be hooked up and used. It can be attached to anything as long as it can bear the weight. In the home, it can be attached to a door using the special accessory (code 2092/1 Anchor Door). The straps are adjustable from approx. 100 to 155 cm, excluding the foot straps (15 cm). The Flying can also be used doubled, i.e. with separate straps.
