Health Space Kubo is, in fact, the direct exercise room of Health Space, an innovative fitness club and personal trainer studio that is located in Santa Cruz, Tenerife.
HIIT training, functional training and boxing: 'Kubo' offers a very dynamic programme of activities, but the most interesting aspect of the room is the setting in which the workouts are performed: dim lighting, disco lights and loud music surround the people taking part in the classes, creating a very fun and intense atmosphere. Here, the line between workout and game is blurred and it feels like being in a 1980s video game (there is a real Pac-Man arcade game in the room and the walls are decorated with Tetris bricks).
With these vintage solutions, Health Space Kubo and more specifically director Isaac Rojas want to recall the first era of video games, when being at the console was great, but could not compete with going outside with friends, playing games and sweating in the streets and fields.
All in all, the result is a unique setting for training on an OUTRACE structure, with the R2-450 white surface frame filled with the colours of the spotlights found at Health Space Kubo (the first to be installed in the Canary Islands).The R2-450 is a Centre Piece structure that allows full use of the training space the room offers: it can accommodate up to 16 people training simultaneously, offering the possibility of a quality training session even in the busiest classes.
