What exercises can you do with Soft Agility Rings?

Soft Agility Rings are used as floor markers for dynamic and functional exercises. They are used for footwork drills, agility exercises where the athlete must place their foot inside the ring, motor coordination, changes of direction and speed training. Each ring indicates the exact point at which the movement should be performed.

What is the difference between an agility ring and training cones?

Soft Agility Rings are flat, coloured rubber markers that lie flat on the ground, with a diameter of 32 cm. The cones (item no. 0250) are vertical markers used to delineate courses. Agility Rings are used when precise footing points need to be marked, whilst cones are used when spaces need to be demarcated or vertical slaloms created.

Do the Soft Agility Rings stick to the floor?

Yes, Soft Agility Rings are made from thin, coloured rubber that grips the ground during exercise. This feature ensures they remain stable when the athlete places their foot inside the ring or performs dynamic exercises near the marker, without them shifting out of place.

How many rings are there in the Soft Agility Ring set?

The set includes 5 hoops in different colours. The different colours allow you to organise progressive exercises, assign different routes based on colour, or facilitate communication during group drills. Each hoop has a diameter of 32 cm.

What is the diameter of the Sidea Soft Agility Rings?

The Soft Agility Rings have a diameter of 32 cm (320 mm). This size allows for precise foot placement and is clearly visible during the exercise, helping to improve coordination and precision in agility movements.

Are Soft Agility Rings suitable for outdoor training?

Soft Agility Rings are made from coloured rubber and can be used on indoor floors and smooth outdoor surfaces. The material is durable, but they grip the ground best on even surfaces such as gyms, artificial turf pitches or tarmac.

Who are Soft Agility Rings suitable for?

Soft Agility Rings are ideal for athletic trainers, strength coaches, team sports coaches, CrossFit boxes and fitness centres that design speed and agility training programmes. They are suitable for athletes of all levels working on speed, coordination and footwork.

Can Soft Agility Rings be used with other Sidea agility equipment?

Yes, the Soft Agility Rings can be used in combination with other equipment from the Sidea Speed and Agility Training range: cones (item no. 0250), Flat Hula Hoops (item no. 2034), and Speed Hurdles (item nos. 0255 and 0257).
