Pair of Eva Tatami Borders 2 cm code 9208, colour Black. The pair consists of a Right Edge and a Left Edge.

It is not possible to purchase individual borders.

The amount of edge pairs required to cover a tatami area is equal to the number of tiles on the longest side multiplied by 2.

Example 1: For a 3×2 layout, 6 pairs of borders must be purchased.

Tips for Using the Surface:

This tatami is double-sided. It can be used on the black side and the white side.

Due to a problem in production caused by improving the formula used in EVA to ensure compliance with REACH regulations for material toxicity and child safety,

the film that creates the “wood” effect tends to yellow, lift and remove over time. It is therefore recommended to use mainly the black side, which does not present any problems.

If necessary, the white side can also be used, by removing the printed film and leaving the white EVA visible.

The black side offers a well-smoothed surface, which is also suitable for ground workouts such as Primitive, while the opposite side has a slightly more abrasive texture.

The tatami cannot be perfectly identical if the tiles are purchased at a distance.

EVA (Ethylene Vinyl Acetate) tiles, like all foam materials, may show variations in colour, density or surface texture between different production batches. These differences are completely normal and result from production tolerances typical of soft materials and processing conditions.

In the course of use, then, EVA tends to change slightly under compression and friction, progressively adapting to the support surface, the activity performed and the environment. It is therefore natural that a user, accustomed to his or her tatami over time, will perceive a different degree of softness, friction or elastic response to new tiles.
