The rain was not enough to prevent a successful first Sidea Open Weekendevent that took place Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 September 2018 and which saw not only adherence but also the active participation of many people over the two days.

The programme of thematic workshops received an excellent response from the participants, who were able to benefit from the expertise and advice of specialised trainers, but also to see practical demonstrations of the correct use of equipment and facilities and try out the various types of training themselves.

In the various indoor and outdoor areas into which the event was divided, it was possible to attend workshops ranging from Calisthenics to theHammock Trainingtheoretical and practical lessons on the use of KettlebellbarbellsclaveFlow bagDuneball e Foam Roller.

Particularly popular was the work area set up outside, where despite the bad weather the marquee of approx. 150m2 made it possible to exploit the tatami for lessons of Primitive Trainingand for the free handstand workshop held by specialists from the Motus team.

An overall successful experiment in the wake of what is now a Sidea tradition: organising and promoting training events dedicated to training and professional trainers.

The Sidea Open Weekend in this sense, it was indeed an opportunity to get in touch with many enthusiasts and professionals in the sector, but at the same time it also enabled raise awareness around equipment and its use. This is fundamental to Sidea's training concept, in which it is the culture of movement that gives value to the tool and it is precisely for this reason that special thanks go to all the trainers who provided their professionalism and expertise during the event, making it absolutely unique for the variety and quality of topics covered.
