The kit includes a total of 100 Kg of Black Rubber Bumper plates, divided into two 5 kg plates (code 9040/1), two 10 kg (code 9042/1), two 15 kg (code 9043/1) and two 20 kg (code 9044/1).

Black Rubber Bumper Plates are all-rubber discs, made for weightlifting, powerlifting, cross training and therefore to resist the barbell falling to the ground (hence the name bumper = bumper). To ensure evenly distributed support, as well as a fixed height of the bar from the floor, the Bumper Plates are all produced with the same outer diameter, conventionally set at 45 cm by the various federal regulations. Due to its mechanical characteristics, synthetic rubber is the most suitable material for making this type of disc.

The high quality of the rubber, which is almost odourless, with an excellent elastic coefficient and good mechanical resistance, allows for exceptional levels of durability despite the adoption of the ring.

The steel ring, placed to protect the bore, is in fact the cheapest and most common construction solution, but has the limitation of wearing the disc more in the central part.
A relative limit because the Black Rubber Bumper Plates brilliantly pass tests of over 20,000 drops.
