BUMP STIMULATING DISC
It is an inflatable rubber disc characterised by a surface with many protuberances, hence the name, and a smooth surface. This product belongs to the so-called unstable bases, for proprioception, coordination, strength, etc. exercises, with the particularity of the stimulating and massaging action of the protrusions. These, in fact, in addition to increasing perception, have an exceptional sub-plantar stimulating action.
The disc is equipped with a needle valve to adjust the pressure according to individual needs.

DESCRIPTION
The rubber cushion is really a fantastic tool for many proprioception exercises. In its great simplicity, it provides the weapons to improve balance in everything from professional sports to postural exercises for the elderly. Inflated with air, it deforms sufficiently to create instability, so that it can be used not only with the lower limbs, but also on hands and knees, or sitting on it.
All this makes for unstable positions and activates supporting muscles in order to correct the loss of balance. Let us look at some exercises. From a standing position, the most elementary actions suggest getting on with two feet, or with only one.
Compared to the Freeman tablet, one immediately notices a significant load on the ankle and a less predictable instability, so to speak. Having more than one, it is an excellent exercise to walk on them, after having spread them out on the ground.
Athletes use it in more extreme ways: they can jump on it with one or two legs, perform squats even with a cart, or perform the technical gesture of the sport they play (a volleyball player balances on the Bump Discs or a basketball player shoots a basket over them).
Bump discs allow the execution of excellent 'core' exercises, e.g. the bird-dog extension: four discs placed under the hands and knees are required, at which point the arms and legs are alternately extended. The action can be facilitated by using only two discs, placed either under the hands or under the knees, as desired. Finally, sitting on top and lifting the feet off the ground causes instability that must be corrected with the abdominal muscles. Wanting to create a more intense action, a medicine ball is used to perform torso twists.
Bump discs are also an excellent support for many Pilates exercises, such as the spine twist, toe tap, singl leg stretch and many others, which become more intense and even more interesting.
