PUBLIC ISLAND RACK - Training structure for public spaces
Public Island Rack is a structure designed to provide outdoor training solutions in public spaces, such as parks, gardens and beaches. The rack and all related components and accessories have in fact been designed in accordance with EN 16630, which aims to ensure the safety of those exercising outdoors while using freely accessible equipment.
In this sense, the Public Island Rack 1 was created with the aim of combining a twofold need: to provide a professional, functional and complete solution, suitable for experienced athletes in the fields of functional training, calisthenics, street workout or Crossfit®, but which at the same time also represents a practical, versatile and safe training possibility for users who want to perform activities to improve their physical well-being.
A need, this, which has resulted in a series of components and training stations that make this facility a true multi-functional 'island', within which it is possible to configure extremely diversified training and circuits and, above all, suitable for all levels.
Configurations and accessories
The main component of the Public Island is the Rack code 9085/1, which can be equipped with a range of accessories: the Bench-Dips code 9085/2, the Parallels code 9085/3 and the Plyobox Low (30 cm, code 9085/4), Medium (60 cm, code 9015/5) and High (90 cm, code 9085/6).

Public Island Rack code 9085/1 includes various training stations, suitable for different types of use. The highest element of the structure (3.53 m) is in fact equipped with stainless steel rings, hanging at a height of 2.10 m, for training with gymnastic rings in compliance with the maximum fall height limits set forth in the EN 16630 standard. The rack is also equipped with a wall bar, two Pull-Up handles (2.10 m high, 38 mm diameter) and two 38 mm diameter horizontal bars, one positioned at 2 m and the other at 1 m height, useful as support for suspension and bodyweight training exercises.
The central module of the structure is also configured as a Monkey Walk Bar with an overall length of 3.57 m, characterised by its inclination, negative on one side and positive on the other, so as to compose a particularly training suspension course suitable for various levels. Finally, the Rack code 9085/1 is also equipped with a Target for throwing medicine balls (such as Giant Med Balls code 0500-0505) and a 38 mm diameter vertical bar, suitable for callisthenic exercises such as the Human Flag.

Public Island Bench-Dips code 9085/2 comprises two modules: on one side the Bench and on the other side two 48 mm diameter Dips bars. The Bench has a rubberized surface and a 10° incline, making it particularly suitable for training the abdominals with exercises such as Crunch and Leg Raise, but also in combination with dumbbells or other equipment for exercises such as Chest Press or rowing.
The Dips bars, on the other hand, are two 48 mm diameter tubular bars spaced 56 cm apart, which, thanks to their 'S' shape, have a triple function. The upper part, parallel to the ground and placed at a height of 1.03 m, can be used for classic free-body Dips exercises as well as for abdominal and core exercises, such as L-Sit and Leg Raise, in this case by resting your back on the special vertical support and holding onto the tubes with your hands. The lower part of the tubulars, on the other hand, is inclined, thus being useful for exercises such as Push-ups or Triceps dips.

Public Island Parallel code 9085/3 are classic gymnastic parallel bars. 123 cm high and approx. 60 cm apart, the two tubulars (50 mm diameter) allow numerous suspension exercises to be performed, with or without overload (e.g. Belt with Chain). The Parallels are an independent component of the main structure and can therefore be freely positioned in the area surrounding the Rack, so as to form a station within a possible training circuit.

Public Island Plyobox code 9085/4-/5-/6 are three parallelepipeds attached directly to the floor, independent of the main structure, and designed to perform plyometric exercises or as an elevated support for bodyweight training exercises. The Plyoboxes, which can be purchased separately, are available in three different heights, i.e. 30, 60 and 90 cm and have dimensions 69×69 cm. The base is made of metal that has been treated for outdoor use, while the upper part is rubber-coated to increase grip and thus prevent slipping or stumbling during use.
