ECOGYM RUBBER FLOOR PUBLIC GARDEN - Synthetic Grass Flooring

In the realisation of areas dedicated to functional training, athletic preparation, free body exercises and games, the adoption of synthetic grass is particularly widespread, also for reasons of undoubted aesthetic impact. In order to reconcile this solution with the need to have a surface capable of cushioning the possible fall of people and weights (kettlebells, dumbbells, barbells, etc.) and the evolution of the Ecogym Garden (cod. 9203) by adding an additional layer of even softer agglomerate, the Ecogym Rubber Floor for Public Areas was born.

The new model uses the same rubber granule agglomerate, 10 mm thick, as the EcoGym, code 9201, coupled with a 25 mm thick synthetic turf surface and an additional layer of recycled foam rubber agglomerate. The solution makes it possible to obtain an extra-comfortable, soft grass surface, particularly pleasant to the touch, suitable for ground exercises, especially in the synthetic grass-skin contact, but also suitable for weight training. In fact, the mix of rubber layers guarantees excellent stability and a significantly improved ability to keep the joints intact. Dynamic exercises, such as sprints for example, or activities with a high level of friction on the surface, sleds, remain ill-advised, even though the new EcoGym Garden appears durable and firm.

EcoGym Garden is produced without the use of hazardous substances ref. CEE 76/769 and without the use of adhesives containing formaldehyde ref. EN 717/1. It can be laid both indoors and outdoors as it was created for outdoor use. It complies with the EN1177 standard for anti-trauma flooring.

The tiles measure 975 x 975 mm, the interlocking installation and the trimming of the joints result in a dimensional loss. As an indication, to calculate the number of tiles required, 20% can be added to the m2 of area: e.g. 30 m2 + 20% = 36 tiles.

As far as cleaning is concerned, it is necessary to have a hoover; this should be used insistently after laying, when the quantity of detached blades of grass is greatest. The tiles can be laid freely; there is no need to glue them down, but attention must be paid to the orientation of the blades of grass to ensure an even finish.
