THE ADVANTAGES OF ELASTIC RESISTANCE
Simple, comfortable and easy to carry, the Latex Loop Band is one of the best allies for toning legs, buttocks and core. Whether you are a neophyte, a training expert or an athlete, it doesn't matter, this elastic loop band is available in different strengths to meet everyone's needs.
Whether placed in the upper and/or lower body, the response you get is increased stimulation of the neuromuscular system. In fact, its use is perfect for improving all skills: speed - agility - power - endurance. The enormous benefits conferred by its use are due above all to the global training it entails, as movements are not sectorialised, isolating the muscles responsible for them, but the motor skills as a whole are trained.
Latex Loop Band can be used and incorporated in different ways within training, athletic preparation or rehabilitation programmes:
- It lends itself well to use as 'extra' resistance during muscular strength and power exercises such as squats or deadlifts, as it 'forces' the user to activate the buttocks while performing the movement, preventing the knees from falling inwards.
- Not only as an additional tool, Latex Loop Band offers elastic resistance that can train and tone our muscles like any other tool.
- The elastic resistance adapts to your training level. Depending on how much tension is applied, the Latex Loop Band changes its level according to the elongation undergone. This feature of elastic resistance is very advantageous during group classes, athletic training and rehabilitation as the level can be managed independently by the user without any loss of time.
- It trains and tones the body while keeping the core active. This characteristic makes the product perfect for use in Functional Training as it requires all-round muscle awareness and activation in order to perform each movement correctly.
IMPROVE THE TONE OF YOUR LEGS AND BUTTOCKS WITH LATEX LOOP BAND
Chin-ups, sub-par squats and dynamic lunges are some of the most recommended exercises for training legs and glutes, but are they really the only ones?
Certainly these are all good exercises that you can include in your training routine, but they are not the only ones! Using the Latex Loop Band in fact allows you to perform both static and dynamic exercises, thus offering a wide range of movements to maximise the activation of these muscle groups.
Are you short of time and space and would like a workout focused on legs and buttocks?
Latex Loop Band you can take it wherever you want, to the gym, on the road and why not, even at home as it only takes 2 square metres to use, enough space to be able to perform a squat or a side step.
Try this routine by repeating it for 3-4 rounds, recovering 60 seconds at the end of the last exercise:
- Crab walk - 15 repetitions while keeping your legs slightly flexed during the movement. If placed at knee height it offers good resistance but if placed at the ankles it will put a strain on your legs. (Elastic - 1)
- Banded squat - 15 repetitions, always push your knees outwards during the descent and ascent to activate the buttocks more and to execute the movement perfectly. (Elastic - 2 and Elastic - 3)
- V - supine abduction - 20 repetitions, try to hold the abduction position for a few moments before returning to the starting position. Posture at the ankles will send your muscles 'on fire' with each repetition. (Elastic - 5)
- Abduction in bridge position - 15 repetitions, always maintain full extension of the pelvis during the movement. (Elastic - 4)
- Hip extension in quadrupedal - 15 repetitions per side, try not to arch your back during the hip extension. To perform the exercise perfectly, concentrate on activating your core with each repetition. (Elastic - 6)
