SI-MACEBELL
The Si-Macebells, also called Steel Mace or Mace Bell, were manufactured based on the specifications given by Macebell Italia - Italian Macebell Federation.
The series consists of 7 models (2.5 - 20 kg) with standard dimensions, which do not vary with weight variation: 1000 mm lever, 32 mm diameter, with conical end and finished with thick micaceous paint. Imperfection-free bell with a perfectly flat bottom on which the weight is engraved, also shown on the end of the lever. Grip is guaranteed by the type of paintwork, while the absence of knurling allows the hand to glide effectively over the lever when changing grip.
The long lever of the Si-Macebells emphasises the decentralisation of the grip with respect to the mass, generating, during the exercises, high 'rotational forces' that are manifested on the athlete in a sudden and difficult to control manner. Joint mobility, stability, strength, proprioception, endurance, are exceptionally stimulated, as is the case for the Si-Clubs.
In the case of the Macebell, however, the excellent mass-decentralisation balance of the clubs is broken by a very high degree of weight decentralisation, which leads the implement to be less specialised from the point of view of strength but more varied from the dynamic point of view.
